Bob & Cheryl buy a Lake House.
My son Jake comes out to put up the sheetrock.

Meanwhile we take a couple of days to pour some concrete to encase the drain lines. Mike and I build the wooden form while jake bends reinforcing wire mesh.

Lowe's sold us a full pallet of sakrete, 42 bags x 80 LBS= 3,360 LBS, and slid it onto my trailer with a forklift. They told us to use what we need and return the rest.

I bought an old Sears mixer for 100 bucks (with no motor) and a 2 horse Briggs engine for 100 more. She's a beauty, they don't make 'em like that anymore!

Mike was pretty spry early in the day.

The next day we busted the form.

Ready to go, just as if we knew what we were doing...

and with the addition of some reclaimed lattice it looks like it's always been there.
