All of the fixtures and appliances that came with the place are junky. We'll be stripping the place to the walls. Here's the kitchen area.
The cabinets came from the UT chemistry department during a remodel. They'll be leaving shortly.
The sink enclosure is 1950 style metal and like everything else it was removed from somewhere else and reinstalled here.
The wall behind the cabinet is perforated with through holes drilled over the years for pipes, cable, phone, electrical.
and the floor tiles have to be scraped up by hand.

We'll be installing all new plumbing - inside the walls rather than along the floor - so everything must go.
The easiest thing to do is shoot a line and slice the sheetrock even so it will be easy to replace.
And ready to build fresh.
