The bathroom is even worse. NEVER let the tenants paint, you'll end up with purple trim.

The gigantic water heater will be replaced by new style demand water heaters. That'll save a few square feet.



Even the bathtub enclosure came from somewhere else, and the framing 2 x 4's are coated in concrete dust, an indication that they used reclaimed concrete forms. That's not a problem, but the cheap masonite has to go. We'll sheetrock all the bare walls later.



There's a 'Half-a-bath' joke here somewhere...


It appears that they cut an access hole through the exterior wall to get to the shower diverter. Not a pretty job, and the drains were not originally set in the slab, but chiseled out of the concrete afterwards.
