MONDAY: 3/16/2004
At the beginning of the day, the steering head is tacked to the front end for the final clamp and weld.
By the end of the day, the entire front end is welded solid and some extra bracing has been added.
We roll our hoop back in place to get a vision of what it might look like when we're done. The front forks are leaning back a little further than they will when we're done, but they are supposed to come behind the axle to pick up the rockers.
Here the firewall bracing is complete and Jake has the axles out. He's installing our new RED axle boots.
