Bob Sokol shows you how to build a BIG WHEEL Trike from an old Volkswagen

Spent too much time on the shafts which go through the suspension springs.

Then tapped matching 1/2 inch fine threads in the tube cross member.

Assembled them with 2 small slices of 1 x 1 to keep the springs centered.

Here's the whole front end assembled for the first time, springs and all.

Barely had time to whip up these supports for the floor boards.
